Terms of Service & Community Guidelines
Effective June 12, 2026
Welcome to Gatherly. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Community Guidelines below. If you do not agree, please do not use Gatherly.
1. Who can use Gatherly
You must be at least 13 years old to use Gatherly. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your content
Gatherly is built from content created by people like you — spots, status updates, photos, and comments (“User Content”). You keep ownership of your User Content. By posting it, you grant Gatherly a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and share that content within the app so other users can see it. You are responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the right to share it.
3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse
Gatherly has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You may not post, and must not use Gatherly to share, content that:
- is unlawful, harassing, threatening, hateful, or abusive;
- is sexually explicit, pornographic, or harmful to minors;
- depicts or encourages violence, self-harm, or illegal activity;
- is defamatory, fraudulent, or invades another person’s privacy;
- infringes someone else’s intellectual property; or
- is spam, a scam, or otherwise deceptive.
You also may not harass, bully, impersonate, or abuse other users. Violating these rules may result in immediate removal of content and termination of your account without notice.
4. Reporting and moderation
Every spot, update, and comment can be reported from its menu. We review reports of objectionable content and abusive users and act on them — including removing content and banning users — within 24 hours. There is no tolerance for content that violates Section 3.
5. Blocking other users
You can block any user from the menu on their content. Once blocked, their status updates and comments are immediately hidden from you on spot pages. Spots they created may still appear on the map.
6. Accounts and termination
You are responsible for activity on your account. You may delete your account at any time from the profile screen, which permanently removes your account and associated content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Location and safety
Gatherly shows community-reported, time-sensitive information that may be inaccurate or out of date. Use your own judgment, follow local laws and posted rules, and stay safe — especially around water, wildlife, and private property. Gatherly is provided “as is” without warranties, and we are not liable for decisions you make based on app content.
8. Contact
Questions, reports, or appeals: email gatherly-support@vohulabs.com. We respond to content and abuse reports within 24 hours.
